TO SPUR DEVELOPMNT

The Narc party development strategy puts into consideration the transformation of districts into Cities. The following shall have City status in addition to existing cities.

• Nkhotakota
• Karonga
• Mulanje
• Chikwawa
• Liwonde
• Machinga
• Mzimba will be a Kingdom
• Lokoma Island and Cape Maclear will be duty free cities
This will help in developments of these islands.

Youth Development

Due to the Inadequate training centers for the Malawian youth, the Narc Party thought it wise to bring back Malawi Young Pioneer (MYP) in a different and Positive way, and it will now be Called Youth Development Centers (YDC). MYP had a department of training, that’s the only positive department which will be brought back to life.

The YDC will have the following sections:

• Food production centers

The products of this section will be donated to Hospitals, the elderly and Prisons.

• IT Centers

The Narc Party has a heart for the youth of Malawi; it wants them to be educated because they are future of this country. That’s why this particular center will be introduced just to help promote the theme of the e-government.

• Technical Schools

In addition to the already existing technical collages Narc party government will introduce more technical collage to help increase the annually collage intake in Malawi.
